Stefano Ischia Prize

The Paolo Procacci Foundation has established the Stefano Ischia Prize, to honor the memory of the great Pain Physician, who is well-known in the international community for his scientific contributions to invasive cancer pain management.

The Scientific Committee of Roma Pain Days will award the Stefano Ischia Prize to the best presentation made by young a scientist under 40 years old, presenting their research results during the Roma Pain Days Congress. The prize will consist of free registration and hospitality to the 2022 Roma Pain Days Congress. He/she shall also be granted a free publication in the Cureus Academic Channel of the Paolo Procacci Foundation, possibly on the topic of their winning presentation. The Prize is open to those invited speakers meeting the age requirement, who are presenting their research at Roma Pain Days.
