Updates on Palliative Medicine in the COVID-19 Era
Palliative medicine is an important topic, especially during the COVID pandemia.
The authors, Giustino Varrassi and Martiba Rekatsina, present a review of many of the critical aspects and challenges. They conclude that at the moment, due to the general situation of the global health care systems, palliative medicine would deserve an increasing attention and a more scientific approach. They also suggest to postpone the deadline of this special issue on palliative medicine, in order to offer the possibility of more manuscripts to be submitted bu many researchers around the world.
